FAQs

  • What is the annual membership?

The cost of membership depends on your level, but typically is far less than joining a gym. Dues are payable at the beginning of the year.  If you join after the first, your entire annual fee is due, with the following year prorated.

  • Why is the youth program more expensive than the adult program?

A very nominal coaching fee of $125 per month with 3 months commitment is suggested (exceptions can always be made as we will work with anyone regardless).  The Youth Group has mandatory practice 3-4 times a week plus additional teaching and practice on proper form and running mechanics held for new members before, during, or after practices to catch them up with our more tenured members.

  • What is the average age of runner?

There are two 2ndWind groups. Youth runners range in age from 9 to 17, while adult runners are all ages, with the majority 35+.

  • How often does the team race?

Some members race once a month or more, while others race a few times a year.  Races are determined by each individual’s goals.

  • Who gets the attention from the Head Coach?

Individuals that consistently complete their workout and trust the program are provided personalized attention.  Tuesday evening workouts are important for the coaches to see how individuals are adapting to the programs.
