2nd Wind’s training philosophy is based on what Coach Kao refers to as the Continuance Principal. The objective is to continuously develop a runner's fundamental performance components, while integrating secondary components at specific times during the training progression. Some training components are worked on year-long (out-of-competition and in-competition), while others are introduced, advanced and tuned prior to primary goal races.
“Make it Fun & We Will Run!” That’s our motto, and it starts with a non-intimidating environment where people of all levels are welcome and supported. 2ndWind is about running beyond the finish line – we want you to ENJOY running so it becomes a regular and life-long activity. Regular aerobic activity will reward you with a stronger heart.
